Our Swim Chem team members are experienced and qualified to provide you with quality customer service and attention to detail whether we are servicing your pool or repairing your pool equipment. At Swim Chem, we treat you like family. That’s because our customers are very important to us. Many of our Swim Chem family have been with us for over 20 years.

Jerry Wallace

President

Jerry Wallace, President

Son of Swim Chem founder John Wallace, Jerry Wallace is the President of Swim Chem and has been with the company for 47 years.

As soon as he got his drivers license in 1977, Jerry began working in the family business. He started at Swim Chem as a route service technician who did repairs, then became a supervisor, and eventually a manager. Jerry and his wife Tamy bought the business in July of 2008.

To stay current with the latest advances in the pool industry, Jerry has been through numerous training programs from trade organizations, swimming pool equipment manufacturers, and chemical manufacturers and suppliers.Ch

Jerry has served on numerous Swimming Pool Trade Association Boards and Committees and is a former Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Board of the California Pool and Spa Association (CPSA).

In his free time, Jerry enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Tamy Wallace

Vice President

Tamy Wallace, Vice President

Tamy Wallace, Vice President of Swim Chem, has been with the company for 39 years. Her employment history was in the banking industry. In May of 1985, Tamy married Jerry Wallace and later that year in November, she left the banking industry to begin working in the family business at Swim Chem.She spends her free time with her husband Jerry and enjoying her children and grandchildren.

John Wallace

Repair Dept. Manager

John Wallace, Repair Dept. Manager

John Wallace, the Repair Department Manager, is the 3rd generation of the Wallace family working at Swim Chem for 19 years. John began working at Swim Chem in 2005 as a route technician and shortly afterward began working in repairs. It was clearly obvious that his mechanical and technology skills would serve him well in the rapidly evolving, swimming pool industry, as computer technology has become a very prevalent part of swimming pool maintenance, repair, and service. John is the Manager of our Repair Department and is also responsible for implementing our manufacturer warranty programs. To stay current on the latest in the pool industry, John attends industry and manufacturer sponsored training programs.
In his free time John works on his five acre country home and shop and enjoys time with his wife and children.

Art Kretchmer

Repair Technician

Art Kretchmer, Repair Technician

Art Kretchmer is a Repair Technician with Swim Chem and has been with the company for 35 years. Art began working at Swim Chem in March of 1989 after working previously in the pool industry. Art began as a regular routeman before moving onto a full service route, and then into the repair department. Our customers love him and often request him when calling for service.Art has attended numerous industry and manufacturer training programs through the years.
In his spare time he enjoys boating, fishing and riding dirt bikes with his kids.

Rodney Roccucci

Service Manager

Rodney Roccucci, Service Manager

Rodney Roccucci, our Service Manager at Swim Chem, has worked for the company for 38 years. Rodney began working here after graduating from high school in June 1986, as a chemical route service technician before moving on to become a full service technician. Rodney progressed to becoming a supervisor and customer service technician in the service department before becoming the Manager of the Service Department.
Rodney has attended numerous industry and manufacturer training courses.He likes to spend his spare time with his wife, children, and grandchildren in the Tahoe area.

Mike Valdez

Accounts Receivable/Customer Service

Mike Valdez, Accounts Receivable/Customer Service

Mike is approaching his 15 year anniversary with Swim Chem having come to us in August of 2009. Mike is our primary accounts receivable technician as well as handling customer service requests and phone calls. Mike enjoys spending time with his kids and other family members. He enjoys entertaining all in his garage bar.

Chris Saiz

Repair Technician

Chris Saiz, Repair Technician

Chris Saiz is a Service Supervisor at Swim Chem. He began working for us in September of 1991 and is approaching his 33 year anniversary with Swim Chem. Initially Chris was a chemical service technician at Swim Chem before becoming a route supervisor and customer service technician in the service department. Chris has attended numerous industry and manufacturer training courses since joining our team.

Chris spends all of his spare time building fishing rods, fishing and attending outdoor shows.

Frank Callahan

Service Supervisor

Frank Callahan, Service Supervisor

Frank Callahan is a Service Supervisor at Swim Chem and has been with us for 26 years. Frank began working with us in January of 1998, as a chemical service technician and is now our senior routeman. In addition to running his route he is a route supervisor and customer service technician in the service department. In the slower season, Frank helps out with filter cleans and small repairs.

In his free time Frank and his wife enjoy watching their son compete in youth baseball.

Tony Leon

Tony Leon, Service Technician

Tony has completed 23 years at Swim Chem, having began his career with us in 2001 as a service technician. Tony is now a supervisor and helps with customer service and quality control visits.
